HERITAGE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL (2013-2016)
The Heritage Herald is Heritage Christian School's quarterly magazine-style newsletter mailed to all donors, alumni and current families. As part of my job as Marketing Director for Heritage Christian School, I curated all content, photos and graphics for the Herald. When I first came to Heritage, the newsletter was a simple 11x17 trifold, printed and folded in-house. I redesigned this strong, clean and professional piece with full-bleed, eye-catching graphics. This mailing helped grow our donor base, increase community recognition and improve customer satisfaction.
The Heritage Christian School Admissions Viewbook is the primary printed marketing piece for the school. I conceptualized, wrote, designed and produced this piece. Creating this informative piece required digging through alumni data, test scores and school information to find the important information to communicate. I designed and created graphs, tables and graphics to present the information in a clear, visually appealing format for prospective families. The purpose of the piece is to give a simple but thorough representation of the Heritage Christian School mission and vision.
I compiled Heritage Christian School's first Annual Report. This report effectively communicates faculty and staff data, student test scores, fundraising numbers and other important information from the school year. I conducted research into different school's annual reports to determine which information would be appropriate for Heritage to include. Once I knew which information was needed, I worked with the Heritage Christian School Board, Head of School, Curriculum Director and other staff to compile accurate data and present it in a clear, useful way.
This Case Statement was part of a mailing sent to all donors as part of a feasibility study prior to the start of a capital campaign. The school hired a consulting firm for the capital campaign that walked me through the process of compiling an effective fundraising piece. I wrote, designed and produced this pamphlet. The feedback from the donors was overwhelmingly positive.
